MEET OUR SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS

Mr Clark
Mr Nick Clark is a teacher and a psychologist. Having started his teaching career, Mr Clark completed further study and has been a psychologist in Private Practice as well as State and Independent Schools. Mr Clark came to Scotch in 2018 and teaches Year 11 Psychology and is the TIC of the Indigenous Partnership Programme. He is grateful for the opportunity to work at this school and support the young men of Scotch College as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up. Mr Clark loves being outdoors with animals and nature, and listening to podcasts.

Ms Silkoff
Ms Lara Silkoff is one of the School Psychologists and teaches Year 7 Foundation Maths. She considers being a school psychologist an immense privilege and honour. Ms Silkoff finds listening to boys’ stories, getting to know who they are and supporting them through difficult times incredibly rewarding. In her spare time, Ms Silkoff loves walking, travelling and eating out with her family and her staffy-cross called Caramel. Being an introvert, Ms Silkoff also enjoys her alone time reading books, bingeing on crime, horror, sci fi and drama series and swimming. She also has two cats, Raisin and Paw Paw, but unfortunately her psychological skills do not extend to understanding felines.
